Copy new assets from a sandbox account to a main account (BETA)

Super admins can now copy certain assets created in a sandbox account back to the main account. This applies to CMS themes, templates, and modules, as well as custom object definitions and pipelines. 

Only completely new assets can be copied to your main account; assets originally created in your main account, then updated in the sandbox account are not currently eligible. 

Please note: you can only start the sync process from your main account. If you are logged into your sandbox account, click Return to my production account in the yellow banner at the top of the page. 

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, select Sandboxes.
  • In the Production account section, click Set up sync to production

  • On the sync set-up screen, click the dropdown menu and select a sandbox
  • Select the checkbox next to each asset or asset type you want to sync. You can filter by asset type at the top of the table. 
  • In the bottom right, click Review sync

  • On the sync review screen, review the assets that will be synced to your main account.
  • At the bottom of the page, click Back to make changes or Confirm sync to continue. 
  • On the sync confirmation screen, type the number of assets that will be created in the field, then click Start sync. The selected assets will begin syncing to your main account immediately.
