Can I disable recording for calls made in HubSpot?

To remove the option for all of the users in your account to record calls made using HubSpot's sales tools, follow the steps below:

Please note: this will remove the Record button for all calls made by all users in your account. To access this setting, you need administrator access and View: Everything in contacts access. 

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • Select Sales > Calling in the left sidebar menu.

  • Toggle the switch for Enable recording OFF. Recording is turned on for any contact who is not in one of the two-party consent states by default. Turn this setting off if you want to disable recording across your entire account.

  • With this option turned off, the option to record will not appear when a user calls a contact from a record in HubSpot.
