To remove the option for all of the users in your account to record calls made using HubSpot's sales tools, follow the steps below:
Please note: this will remove the Record button for all calls made by all users in your account. To access this setting, you need administrator access and View: Everything in contacts access.
- In your HubSpot account, click your photo or avatar in the top right-hand corner, then click Settings.
- Select Sales > Calling in the left sidebar menu.
- Toggle the switch for Enable recording OFF. Recording is turned on for any contact who is not in one of the two-party consent states by default. Turn this setting off if you want to disable recording across your entire account.
- With this option turned off, the option to record will not appear when a user calls a contact from a record in HubSpot.
