Can I create a custom state or country property with a preset list of options?

Follow the steps below to create a custom state or country property with a preset list of options to select from.

  • Navigate to Contacts > Contacts Settings
  • Select Create Property
  • Choose Dropdown Select from the Field type dropdown
  • Select State or Country from the Choose a Preset menu next to "Would you like to add a present list of options?"
  • Click Save property

Your custom property field will now contain a preset list of countries to choose from. There are also property presets available for several other types of questions (such as employment, age, marital status, etc.).

If you have your own list of property presets you'd like to use, you can copy these from a CSV (Excel) file and paste them into the options for any of the following field types: dropdown select, radio select, and multiple checkboxes.
