Yes. When you are integrated with Salesforce and have enabled the task sync setting, you may sync Salesforce tasks, or activities, to your records in the HubSpot CRM.
When you have task sync enabled in HubSpot and a new task is created on a record in Salesforce, you will see that new task show up in the corresponding record in the HubSpot CRM once a sync occurs.
Please note that existing tasks will need to be imported from Salesforce in order to sync with HubSpot.
The following fields on the task/activity in Salesforce can sync to HubSpot:
- Assigned To
- Related To
- Due Date
The Status, Type, Reminder, and Priority fields do not sync to HubSpot.
To sync a task/activity from Salesforce to HubSpot:
- Create the new task in Salesforce.
- You can access the newly created task in the Open Activities section on the contact record in Salesforce.
- You can also see the Salesforce task on the contact record in the HubSpot CRM. Please note that you will need to wait for a sync to occur in order to see the item appear in the record's timeline. The default tasks types in Salesforce are Call, Email, Other, and Meeting. Each type will appear in HubSpot as a task.
