Before sending an email from a contact record in your HubSpot CRM, you will need to verify your email address. The prompt to verify your email address will look like the screenshot displays below:
Your email address needs to be verified for the following reasons:
- To ensure you're actively using and own the email address specified.
- To ensure that all emails sent are being tracked properly.
Please note: if you are not receiving an email to verify your email address, you will want to whitelist email@example.com. Read this article on whitelisting addresses in order to receive emails from HubSpot.
