With the domain partitioning feature, Marketing Hub Enterprise users with Partition by content permission can assign publishing permissions for each connected subdomain to specific teamsThis simplifies the publishing process for large organizations with different teams publishing content on the same content tools.

With this setting enabled, users will have limited access to subdomains in the Settings tab of the content editor. If any unassigned subdomains are selected, the Publish/Update button will be inactive. Members of the teams you assign to your subdomain still need to have publishing permissions to publish content. After this setting is enabled, Admins will still have permission to publish on all connected subdomains.

This setting assigns the subdomains teams are allowed to use for publishing content. To control the content users sees in their content dashboard, Admins can assign content access.

Please note: for best results, it's recommended that you create your teams in HubSpot before assigning your subdomains to teams.

Assign subdomains to your teams

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • On the left sidebar, navigate to Domains & URLs.
  • Find the subdomain you want to assign, click Edit then select Assign teams.
