How are automated emails shown on the calendar tool?

Each automated email will appear on the Calendar on either the day the email was created or the last time the email was updated. Each automated email will only be listed on the calendar once, and not each time the automated email is sent via a workflow due to the recurring nature of workflow actions.

To see automated emails appear on the Calendar, be sure the box is checked next to Recurring Email.
