Why do I get an error, "This domain is resolving, but it is pointed to the wrong CNAME" under Domain Settings?

If you are receiving a warning in your Domain Manager tool (Content > Content Settings > Domain Manager), listing a domain as resolving, but pointed to the wrong CNAME record, you will need to update your DNS records to match the appropriate record for your HubSpot portal. In other words, this message is part of a HubSpot mechanism detecting that a domain you have connected to HubSpot isn't pointed to the appropriate HubSpot CNAME, therefore you should review your DNS records to ensure the domain in question is rightfully pointed to HubSpot. In the case you have recently updated your DNS records keep in mind that it may take up to 48 hours after a change has been made for those changes to propagate across the internet.
