Will replacing an image in File Manager with the same file name replace that image on my website?

Once a file in the HubSpot File Manager has been replaced it will dynamically update across all pages where the resource has been inserted. Keep in mind that you may need to clear your cache to see the updated version of the image on your live page. 

To replace an image in your HubSpot File Manager:

  • In your HubSpot Marketing account, navigate to Content File Manager
  • Find the file you wish to replace and click on its name > select Replace.

  • Choose your new file in the dialog box. 

Please note: Uploading a new file to the File Manager with the same file name will not automatically replace an existing file – a new file will be created with a dash and unique number at the end. For example, if you already have a file named "my-cat-velveeto.jpg" and upload a new file with the same name, a new file will be created called "my-cat-velveeto-1.jpg."
