How can I update my simple follow-up email for form submissions on my HubSpot landing page?

If you have configured a simple follow-up email on your HubSpot landing page and wish to update the content of the email, you can access the email directly from the form options within the landing page editor or from the email tool.

From the landing page editor

  • In your HubSpot Marketing Hub Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Marketing > Website > Landing Pages.
  • Find the landing page that contains your follow-up email. Hover over the page and click Edit
  • Click on the form module to open the form's options.
  • Check the box for Send a follow-up email. Select an email from the dropdown menu and click Edit just below this.

  • You will be taken into the email editor to make your changes. Edit the email as needed. 
  • Click Next to move to the Settings tab and again to move to the Review tab. 
  • Once you've reviewed your email, click Update to take the changes to your email live.

From the email dashboard

  • In your HubSpot Marketing Hub Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
  • Locate your existing follow-up email. You can also use the Email type dropdown menu at the top of your dashboard to filter for Follow-up emails.

  • Hover over the email and click Edit. Make edits to your email as needed. 
  • Click Next to move to the Settings tab and again to move to the Review tab. 
  • Once you've reviewed your email, click Update to take your changes live.
