Why do some components in the rich text editor or blog post editor look distorted?

Your website pages and blog posts often have JavaScript and CSS files, or stylesheets, attached. These files dictate the look and feel of the content on that page. In the same way that these files apply styles to your website or blog assets, they can also apply styling to the rich text editor in your web browser.

Depending on the style rules and specificity of the CSS attached to a given page, the components of the rich text module editor can appear distorted as it tries to follow the rules of the CSS. This is why some components like the buttons, fields, or labels in the rich text module editor can be affected.

For cases like these, we recommend working with the original designer of the stylesheets that are causing the conflict. The original designer will have context about the source of the conflict and the technical skills required to make any changes.
