Why is the tracking code not validating in the account setup steps?

  • If you receive an error in the account setup steps when validating your tracking code, confirm that it is correctly installed on your site. Follow these instructions for verifying the installation.
  • If the tracking code is installed and firing correctly, click on the button 'I've completed this' to proceed to the next setup step.
  • Note: if you see a Error: HTTP 403 when validating the tracking code, this indicates that our our crawler might be blocked from accessing your site to detect the tracking code. Check if any user agents or crawlers are being blocked in your site's robots.txt file.
