There can be benefits to embedding a HubSpot form onto an external, non-HubSpot website page versus using your own form. However, you may certainly use your own form if you wish.

Some benefits of using a HubSpot form on your external, non-HubSpot website include:

  • User-friendly, non-coding way to create and manage the form in HubSpot.
  • The ease of copying and pasting the HubSpot form's embed code onto your external website. Either paste onto your website yourself or simply provide the HubSpot embed code to your designer to paste.
  • After embedding the HubSpot form and pasting the HubSpot tracking code onto your external website (in order to capture conversion information and history with the submission), watch form submissions appear in HubSpot automatically and create or update contact records along with convenient tracking and analytics without any additional coding or fancy tricks necessary.
  • When it comes to styling, there are no shortage of opinions. However, no styling is necessarily needed for embedded HubSpot forms since there is default styling already applied making the embedded form appear nice and acceptable.
