Why is my property not available as a form field?

By default, most properties are automatically available in forms. However, if you created a custom property, it may not be set up to be available for use in forms. To check this:

  • Navigate to your contacts.
  • Click the Customize dropdown menu and select Edit properties.
  • Locate and click the name of your property to make edits. 
  • Click to toggle the Show in forms switch on. If your property has multiple options, make sure that the switch is toggled on for each option you'd like to be able to use in your forms.


  • Click Save.

This property will now be available in the Fields tab of the form editor.
