If you make a change to a contact property within a form, the change will be reflected on the form itself. If that form happens to be embedded on an external page, you will not need to re-embed the form.
If you make a change to a contact property in Contacts > Contacts Settings, the corresponding form field will be updated on any form already using this field unless you have customized the field label. A custom field label will continue to show up even if the corresponding contact property has been modified in your contacts settings.
If you have already customized the field label for this property on a particular form, you will need to remove the field and then re-add it to apply any changes made in contacts settings:
- Remove the field (i.e., contact property) from the form by hovering over the field and clicking Delete.
- Click Save in the upper right-hand corner.
- Refresh the form page.
- Add the field back to your form.
- Click Save again, and then click Publish in the upper right-hand corner so your change is reflected on your live form.
Following these steps will ensure that the changes on the contact property reflect on the form. If the form is embedded on an external page, you will not need to re-embed the form.
