Sending Automated Surveys from Salesforce

One of the most popular uses for surveys are those based off an action taken by a sales rep. When a sales rep is working a deal, you might want them to send out a survey to assess where their biggest pain points are. Or perhaps when a deal is marked as won, you want reps to send out a survey assessing how the sales process was. Whatever your use case may be, you can do this in one of two ways if you are Salesforce integrated.

Using the workflow enrollment page in Salesforce
With our workflow enrollment page in Salesforce, a rep can enroll a contact in a HubSpot workflow from Salesforce at any time. If a workflow is set up to send out an email with a link to a survey in it, the rep can add a contact to a workflow with one click in Salesforce. You can learn more about this feature here.

Based on a contact property in Salesforce
You can also set up a smart list that is triggered off of a contact property set from Salesforce. For example, you could create a list that has the criteria of "Lifecycle Stage = Customer" that triggers a workflow that sends a survey email. This way, whenever a sales rep marks a lead as closed won, an email will be sent from HubSpot with a survey included. You could do this off of any property in Salesforce, so the possibilities are endless!

In either case, sending a survey at key points in a prospect or customer's lifecycle stage can be a great way to keep them happy and engaged!
