When filtering a list or workflow starting criteria by Page View, you have the option to refine the criteria by "Number of times":

Refine by number of times
Refine by number of times

When filtering your list by Contact has visited exact URL, the "Number of times" refinement requires that contacts must visit the full specified URL at least (no more than, or exactly, depending on your refinement selection) X times in order to meet the list criteria.

When filtering your list by Contact has visited URL containing, the "Number of times" refinement requires that contacts must visit any pages (with HubSpot tracking code) that contain the URL sub-string at least (no more than, or exactly, depending on your refinement selection) X times in order to meet the list criteria. As an example, we'll look at a list is set up to filter by contacts who have visited the URL containing "/blog" at least 3 times:

visited part of URL 3 times
visited part of URL 3 times
  • A contact who has visited the following pages one time each will meet the list criteria because they have 3 total visits to pages containing the URL sub-string "/blog":
    • www.domain.com/blog/grow-blog-subscribers-grow-traffic 1 time
    • www.domain.com/blog/lead-scoring 1 time
    • www.domain.com/blog/how-to-find-great-keywords 1 time
  • A contact who has visited the following page 3 times will also meet the list criteria because they have 3 total visits to pages containing the URL sub-string "/blog":
    • www.domain.com/blog/grow-blog-subscribers-grow-traffic 3 times
