Marketing actions appear beneath the data in your Sources report to give you context about what actions may have contributed to the traffic you're seeing in that timeframe.

By default, any emails you send will appear as marketing actions under the data in the Sources report for the timeframe in which they were sent. You can also add custom marketing actions, edit existing actions, or remove them from the Sources report entirely.

Add a marketing action

  • In your HubSpot Marketing account, navigate to Reports Sources
  • Set your timeframe, domain, and/or report filters as necessary.
  • Click + Add marketing action

  • Set a date and description for your marketing action. You also have the option to add a URL here.
  • Click Save

Edit an existing marketing action

  • In your HubSpot Marketing account, navigate to ReportsSources
  • Set your timeframe, domain, and/or report filter as necessary.
  • Click the checkmark icon below the timeframe in which the marketing action occurred.
