The links tool tracks domains linking to your website, and gives a snapshot of the sites linking to your competitors. Use the links tool to enhance your link-building strategy.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Analytics Tools.
  • Click Links

At the top, you'll see the following metrics:

  • Total Links Found: the total number of links on external domains linking to a page on your site. The links tool calculates the total number of linking domains using data recorded from Moz when your account was first created, along with updated referral traffic from your sources report over time.

Please note: the competitors tool uses updated linking domains data from Moz over time. This data is updated each time a domain is updated in the competitors tool. To see inbound links as reported by Moz, check out their Open site Explorer tool. To see referral traffic in your sources report, navigate to Reports > Analytics Tools, then click Traffic Analytics

  • Total Linking Domains Found: the number of unique domains that contain a link to a page on your site.
  • Total Average Authority: average estimated authority of the domains that link to your site
