How do I sync a single contact from HubSpot to Salesforce?

You may sync a whole list of contacts from HubSpot to Salesforce, or you may sync just one contact at a time. Any contact you wish to sync to Salesforce from HubSpot will need to be a member of your Salesforce Inclusion List, if you have one setup. If you do not have an inclusion list setup, you may still sync a contact to Salesforce as long as they have a Lifecycle Stage of Lead or a stage further down the funnel. By default, a contact with a Lifecycle Stage equal to Subscriber will not sync to Salesforce, unless the contact is a member of the inclusion list.

To sync a HubSpot contact to Salesforce:

  • From your HubSpot Marketing account, navigate to Contacts > All Contacts > search for and click the name of the contact in question.
  • Scroll down to the section on the left panel labeled Salesforce Sync > click Resync.


Please note: If you attempt to sync or resync your contact with Salesforce and receive a message that you are unable to do so, this could be because your contact doesn't have an email address or a couple other reasons - read more about this here.
