Why are my contacts not importing from Salesforce?

If you are attempting to import your Leads or Contacts via HubSpot, the import screen only pulls new records into HubSpot. If you run an import that results in no new records, make sure the records in Salesforce have an email address and are not duplicates of another record already in HubSpot.

If you have new records created in Salesforce and are unsure why the were not created in HubSpot, verify that the auto-add functionality is enabled by doing the following steps:

  • In your HubSpot account, click your photo or avatar in the top right-hand corner, then click Integrations.
  • Within the Salesforce section, click Settings
  • Scroll to the Creating Contacts in HubSpot section and ensure that the radio buttons are checked appropriately, as doing so will create a new contact in HubSpot whenever a record is created in Salesforce.
