With HubSpot Sales, you can use contact profiles to get context for the interactions you have with your contacts. When composing a message, a panel will appear on the right side of the compose window with information about the recipient, as well as a history of your interactions.
Contact profiles appear by default in the HubSpot Sales Outlook plugin when you compose a new email. To disable contact profiles in the plugin:
- In your Outlook inbox, click HubSpot Sales in the ribbon, then select Settings.
- In the dialog box that appears, uncheck Show Contact Profiles, then click OK at the bottom.
- When you compose a new email, contact profiles will no longer appear by default. You can still view contact profiles for a specfic email by clicking Contact Profiles in the HubSpot section of the Outlook ribbon.
Please note: the steps above are for disabling contact profiles in the Outlook plugin, where they appear by default. If you have the Office 365 add-in, contact profiles will not appear automatically. To view a contact's profile with the Office 365 add-in, enter the contact's email address in the To field, then click Sales Tools in the Outlook ribbon (on desktop) or the HubSpot icon below the email body field (on web). Click View contact in the HubSpot Sales pane that slides in on the right.
