Authorization failure is a common error that causes your social media posts to be unsuccessful. The best way to resolve this error is to reauthorize your social media account.
To reauthorize your account without deleting it (deleting an account cancels any scheduled posts and removes your settings and previously published posts for that account from the social tool in HubSpot), you can simply connect to the same account again within your Social Settings:
- Navigate to Social > Social Settings.
- Click Connect another account and select the social media platform that you're trying to reauthorize (or click the icon for that platform to the right of the Connect another account button).
- Follow the steps to authorize the account depending on the social media platform. Be sure to sign in to the account that you're trying to reauthorize.
- Once you've reauthorized the account, a message will appear confirming that you've successfully connected.
