Why am I seeing the error "You've exceeded the daily post limit allowed for a Facebook page." in HubSpot?

You might see the message "You've exceeded the daily post limit allowed for a Facebook page. Please clone this message and try again." if you exceed your page's posting limit in Facebook.

Your daily post limit is calculated by Facebook based on the number daily active people (DAP) who interact with your Facebook page. For example, pages with a higher number of daily active people will have a higher posting limit, and pages with a lower number of daily active people will have a lower limit. Read more about this here.

Your limit applies to any third-party social media tools that are authorized to post to your Facebook page. If you see this message, but have not published to this page using HubSpot in the past 24 hours, check to see if any other applications may have tripped this limit.

You can clone your unsuccessful message and try to post again when your limit has reset. If you're seeing this message frequently, you can work to increase your engagement on Facebook which will increase your number of daily active people on your page and, therefore, your daily post limit.
