If you publish a post via the Social Publishing tool in HubSpot and that post appears on a social network you did not intend, check the following:
- If this is a scheduled post to post to an account that no longer is linked to HubSpot, HubSpot retains retroactive posting permissions there. Delete all draft posts for this account manually.
- Otherwise, check the individual social accounts to see if they are set up to publish to other networks (i.e., Facebook statuses to Twitter), or if there is another platform, like HootSuite, involved.
- Check to be sure that you do not have Facebook set up to post all activity to Twitter: https://www.facebook.com/twitter/
