How can I update the automated email in my workflow?

You can access the editor for your automated workflow email from the workflow itself.

Follow the steps below to find your automated email and access the editor:

  • From your HubSpot Marketing account, navigate to Contacts > Workflows.
  • Click on the name of the workflow that includes the email you'd like to edit.
  • From the Actions screen, find and click on the name of your email in the Send an email action in your workflow.

  • This will bring you to the details page for the email. Click Edit in the top right corner to access the editor.
  • Make the necessary changes to the email and click Next in the upper-right hand corner to move through the tabs in the editor. 
  • From the Review tab, click Update.

The new version of your email will be sent in your workflow(s) to any contacts who reach a step including this email going forward, including contacts who are active in prior steps of the workflow when your edits are made. Contacts who have already moved past this step or have completed the workflow will not receive the updated version.
