If your workflow is set to execute actions on business days only, actions that are scheduled to execute on weekends will be rescheduled to execute on Monday of the following week.
For example, if a contact is enrolled on a Saturday and the workflow is restricting actions from executing on weekends, the action will execute at the same time on Monday of the following week.
If there is also a time range specified, an action set to execute on the weekend will execute on Monday at the same time within that range or the earliest time of day the range begins.
In the example above, a workflow is set to execute actions on business days only and within the time range of 9:00am-5:00pm.
- If a contact is enrolled at 3:00pm on Saturday, the first action will execute at 3:00pm on Monday since 3:00pm is within the range's settings.
- If a contact is enrolled at 8:00am on Saturday and the first action is set to execute immediately after enrollment, the action will be rescheduled to Monday at 9:00am (the earliest time within the restricted time range).
