Users with Delete permission can delete individual records in HubSpot, including contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, and calls. Users with Bulk delete permission can also delete records in bulk.
If you've deleted a record by mistake, you can restore records deleted within the last 90 days. Contacts that were deleted permanently to comply with privacy laws cannot be restored.

Data lost or affected when deleting records
Before deleting HubSpot records, consider the data and tools that will be affected.
- If a record is deleted, it will be unenrolled from all workflows.
- When deleting a ticket, its associated conversation from the inbox will also be deleted.
- When deleting a contact:
- Interaction data and timeline activity in the contact record will be deleted, including form submission data, website visit information, list membership data, data from integrations, lifecycle stage transition data, and information about custom event completion (Marketing Hub Enterprise only).
-
- The lifecycle stage of the contact's associated company may be reset or recalculated, based on the associated company's association to other contacts and deals.
-
- The data in existing tools and reports will be affected, including:
- Deleted contacts will be removed from counts in contact reports.
- Visits from deleted contacts will appear in the sources report, but will be removed from the count of contacts.
- Deleted contacts generated by a campaign will no longer appear in the campaign dashboard.
- Submission data for deleted contacts will remain in the form submissions and landing page submissions reports under No contact for 90 days following the contact's deletion. After 90 days, the contact's submission data will be removed. If a contact was deleted to comply with GDPR, it will not be held in the recycle bin. Their submission data will be removed immediately for users but may take up to 30 days to be deleted from HubSpot.
