Customize the right sidebar of records (BETA)

On the right sidebar of a record, there are cards that show high level information about associations, attachments, and data from HubSpot tools, such as lists or reports. Users with Account access permissions can customize a default right sidebar for each object by selecting the information to include and the order of the cards.

Once a default right sidebar is set, the sidebar will appear on all records of that object. The sidebar applies to all users in the account, but depending on a user's permissions, some cards may be hidden.

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects, then select the object for which you’d like to edit the right sidebar.
  • Click the Record customization tab.
  • Click Customize the right sidebar
  • In the right panel, objects and tools that currently appear on the right sidebar are shown. You can edit the cards and their order:
    • To remove a card, click Remove.
    • To add a card, click Add card, then select an option from the dropdown menu. The options available depend on your HubSpot subscription.
    • To reorder the sections, click a card and drag it to a new position.
    • Once you’re done, click Save at the bottom of the panel.
  • Once saved, the selected cards will appear in the specified order on all records of the object. Users cannot adjust the order of the cards on an individual record.
