If you're creating webinars, especially using HubSpot's GoToWebinar integration, you're using one of marketing's most powerful tools for qualifying and educating leads. But, if you're not using the content of your webinars to help you create more offers and content, you may not be getting the most out of your webinars.

Below are a few tips to help get you thinking about how best to leverage your webinar content.

Record your webinar

The most important thing you'll want to do is record your webinar so you can use it later. If you are using HubSpot's GoToWebinar integration, you can record your webinar easily by clicking the record button in your administrative panel when you start the webinar.

Host your recording with Wistia

Next, you'll want to use a video-hosting service to publish your recording to the web. While YouTube is the most popular service to host videos on, we suggest you use Wistia, a hosting service geared specifically towards marketers.

HubSpot's integration with Wistia will allow you to get detailed video analytics and segment off of contacts viewing patterns of your videos, turning video views into discrete marketing signals you can use to get and qualify more leads.

Create offers using your recording

Now that your videos are hosted, you can create offers with the recording of your webinar. Many marketers create an "archive" of their past webinars, requiring a conversion to watch these recordings. Others break the webinar up into smaller pieces and create multiple offers with hyper-specific content. However you choose to use the recordings, if you are using the Wistia integration, you can get an unprecedented view into what parts of your recording really resonated with a contact, giving you the ability to tailor your conversation with them.

Leverage your recordings in other channels

Don't stop with hosting and posting your recordings! Here are some other ideas to make sure you get the most out of your webinars:

  • Turn your content into a blog post
  • Post the slides of your webinar to Slideshare
  • Use a transcript service (we like CastingWords) and publish a written version of your webinar
