How to uninstall the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in and Office 365 add-in

You can uninstall the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in or the Office 365 add-in if you would like to take the HubSpot sales tools and the track and log email options out of your inbox.

How to uninstall the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in

Below are instructions for uninstalling the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in and the HubSpot Sales Windows tray app (HubSpot Sales for Windows):  

 

Uninstall HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in

  • On your PC, click the Start menu
  • Search and select Uninstall a program or Add and remove programs

  • In the dialog box, click HubSpot Sales for Outlook.
  • Click Uninstall.
  • In the dialog box that appears, click OK to proceed.
  • When the process is complete, click OK

Uninstall HubSpot Sales for Windows

  • On your PC, click the Start menu
  • Search and select Uninstall a program or Add and remove programs

  • In the dialog box, click HubSpot for Windows.
  • Click Uninstall.
  • In the dialog box that appears, click OK to proceed.
  • When the process is complete, click OK

Please note: after uninstalling HubSpot Sales for Outlook desktop, application settings and log files will remain on your computer.  For a list of these remnants, click here.

How to uninstall the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in

The process to uninstall the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in will differ slightly depending on what email client you're using. 

 

Uninstall the Office 365 add-in from your Outlook desktop account on a PC or Mac

If you're using the Office 365 add-in in your Outlook desktop app on a PC or Mac, follow the steps below to uninstall the add-in:

  • Click the Store icon in the upper right-hand corner of Outlook.
  • Click My Add-ins in the left sidebar menu.
  • Toggle the HubSpot Sales switch off.

 

 

Uninstall the Office 365 add-in from your Outlook on the web or Outlook.com account

If you're using the Office 365 add-in in your Outlook on the web or Outlook.com account, follow the steps below to uninstall the add-in:
  • Click Settings in the upper right-hand corner of your email account and select Manage add-ins.

  • In the slide-in modal window, click My add-ins in the left sidebar menu.
  • Toggle the HubSpot Sales switch off. 

 

How uninstalling the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in affects access to the features of a connected inbox

You can choose to leave your inbox connected after you uninstall the Office 365 add-in, or disconnect your inbox. Learn more about what functionality is lost below: 

 

Uninstalling the Office 365 add-in and leaving your inbox connected

If you uninstall the HubSpot Sales Outlook desktop add-in, you'll lose access to the features of HubSpot Sales in Outlook, including contact profiles, sales tools, and logging and tracking emails. 

With your inbox still connected, however, you can send email from a contact record in HubSpot and continue using your sales tools that require a connected inbox in your HubSpot account.    

 

Uninstalling the Office 365 add-in and disconnecting your inbox

If you uninstall the Office 365 add-in and disconnect your inbox from HubSpot, you'll lose access to the features of HubSpot Sales in Outlook as well as sales tools in HubSpot that require a connected inbox. Additionally, you won't be able to send emails from a contact record in HubSpot and use some of the other features of a connected inbox.

Please note: whether you decide to leave your inbox connected or not, once you uninstall the add-ins, you can still manually log emails using your BCC address
