Manage HubSpot Marketplace reviews for listings

When a customer purchases an app, agent, template, or module on the HubSpot Marketplace, they will be invited to leave a review 30 days later. Good reviews build trust, while bad reviews offer an opportunity for you to showcase how you respond to critical feedback.
This article covers steps for HubSpot Marketplace creators to request and reply to reviews for their listings. Learn more about leaving a review on the HubSpot Marketplace.
Understand limitations and considerations
- A listing must have at least 10 reviews to display a star rating.
- Listing creators may leave up to two replies on reviews. Customers will not be able to respond to this reply on the listing.
Generate a review link
When asking customers to leave you a review, you can include a direct link for them to create the review. Only customers that meet HubSpot's review guidelines should leave reviews.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Development.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to App Listings, Agent Listings, Theme Listings, or Module Listings.
- Hover over the listing and click the More dropdown menu, then select View listing details.
- Click the Customer Feedback tab.
- In the top right, click Copy review link.
Reply to a review
If a customer leaves a review, you can leave a reply to that review addressing their comments. The customer will then receive an email with the content of your reply, which will be posted on the public listing page.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Development.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to App Listings, Agent Listings, Theme Listings, or Module Listings.
- Hover over the listing and click the More dropdown menu, then select View listing details.
- Click the Customer Feedback tab.
- At the bottom of the review, click Reply.
- In the dialog box, enter a reply in the Reply field.
- Click Send.
Request review or reply removal
If a review or reply is offensive, uses profane language or violates HubSpot's review guidelines, you can request that it be removed. HubSpot will review the request within ten business days.
If the review is removed, you and the customer will be notified, and they will be able to leave a new review.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Development.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to App Listings, Agent Listings, Theme Listings, or Module Listings.
- Hover over the listing and click the More dropdown menu, then select View listing details.
- Click the Customer Feedback tab.
- At the bottom of the review, click Report.
