Use conversations in the HubSpot mobile app

Access your chat conversations directly from the HubSpot mobile app and continue the conversation with your leads and contacts while on the move.

Use conversations (iOS)

To live chat from the mobile app:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • To filter your conversations by status or channel, select a view

  • Tap the conversation you want to respond to.
  • If the conversation is not assigned yet, in the top right tap Actions, then tap Reassign. Tap a name to assign the conversation to.
  • In the message editor, directly respond and use text, emojis, and voice input, as supported by your mobile keyboard, when chatting with visitors. Then click the send icon send

  • When you're done chatting, tap Actions, then tap Close to end the chat session.
  • To navigate back to the inbox, tap Back in the upper-left. 
  • To change your status to Away, tap the dropdown menu next to your avatar then tap Away

To update your conversations settings:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Notifications, then tap Conversations.
  • Set your preferences for Reply and Assign notifications. Learn more about alerts for notifications from the HubSpot mobile app.

To view past conversations:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • Tap a view
  • In the top left, tap the Status dropdown menu and select Closed
 

Use conversations (Android)

To live chat from the mobile app:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • To change inboxes, in the top left click the dropdown menu and select another inbox.
  • To filter your conversations, tap a view.

  • Tap a conversation to open it.
  • If the conversation is not assigned yet, in the top right tap Actions, then tap Reassign. Tap a name to assign the conversation to.android-reassign-conversations
