Use conversations in the HubSpot mobile app

Access your conversations inbox directly from the HubSpot mobile app and continue the conversation with your leads and contacts while on the move.

Use conversations (iOS)

Respond to visitors from the mobile app

To respond to conversations from the mobile app:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • To filter your conversations by status or channel, select a view

  • Tap the conversation you want to respond to.
  • To reassign a conversation, in the top right tap Actions, then tap Reassign. Tap a name to assign the conversation to.
  • To respond to a conversation, tap the message input field. You can use text, emojis, and voice input, as supported by your mobile keyboard, when chatting with visitors. Then tap the send icon send

  • To end the conversation, tap Actions, then tap Close
  • To navigate back to the inbox, tap Back in the upper left. 
  • To change your status to Away, tap the dropdown menu next to your avatar then tap Away

To view past conversations:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • Tap a view
  • In the top left, tap the Status dropdown menu and select Closed

Configure your conversations notification settings

To update your chat notification settings:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Notifications, then tap Conversations.

Use conversations (Android)

Respond to visitors from the mobile app

To respond to a conversation from the mobile app:

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More, then tap Conversations.
  • To change inboxes, in the top left tap the dropdown menu and select another inbox.
  • To filter your conversations, tap a view.

  • Tap a conversation to open it.
  • To reassign the conversation, in the top right tap Actions, then tap Reassign. Tap a name to assign the conversation to.android-reassign-conversations

  • To end the conversation, tap Actions, then tap Close.
