Navigate to social reports
In your HubSpot Marketing Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Social > Reports.
Filter your reports based on account, time period, or campaign
When you first come into social reports, you'll see reports for all of your social media channels. Use the filters at the top of the screen to adjust the graphs based on account, time frame, or campaign.
Note: The Visits and Contacts sections cannot be filtered by account or campaign.
First, let's go over the main navigation area located at the top of your reports:
- Accounts - filter based on social network or account
- Time period - filter for this week, this month, the last 30 days, last month, the last 3 months, or a custom time period
- Campaigns - filter based on which campaign your messages were associated with
There is also a switch towards the top-right of the screen where you can view some of the social reports broken down by Totals or By network. Select Totals if you want to view total counts of your visits, contacts, clicks, and interactions. Select By newtork to view these reports broken down by each social network.
Below you can read about each section of the social reports tool and see what the data looks like if you select Totals or By network.
VisitsThe Visits section counts all traffic for the selected time period that your website gets from any social network, even if it comes from a message that you didn't author. Below is what the report looks like for all of your networks in Total.
ContactsThe Contacts section shows a count of the contacts that were created in HubSpot during your selected time frame and are attributed to social media as their original source.
To view your Contacts report broken down by network, click the By network toggle in the upper-right corner. Hover over the bars in the graph to see which network they are displaying and how many contacts were created from each network.
ClicksUse the Clicks report to view a count of clicks on messages that your team published through HubSpot.
To view your Clicks report broken down by network, click the By network toggle in the upper-right corner. Hover over the bars in the graph to see which network are generating the most clicks.
InteractionsUse the Interactions report to see how people are engaging with your social messages. This report includes and counts mentions, replies, comments, likes, +1s, and retweets for messages posted through HubSpot.
To view your Interactions report broken down by network, click the By network toggle in the upper-right corner. Hover over the bars in the graph to see which network are generating the most interactions.
