Verify the email address used to send marketing emails

Before you can use an email address as a "from address" in marketing emails, you must verify that you have access to it. Any marketing emails with an unverified from address will be sent from a HubSpot-managed domain, such as hs-domain.com, instead. 

The following types of email addresses are always verified: 

• Email addresses belonging to active users in your HubSpot account. 
• Email addresses containing a connected email sending domain. 

Verify email addresses used to send marketing emails

To verify an email address that doesn't match a connected email sending domain or existing user:

1. Click the name of a draft email or click Create email.
2. In the email editor, click the Inbox tab.
3. Click the From address dropdown menu and select an email address or click Add email address. 
4. If the address isn't verified, click verify your ownership. 
5. In the dialog box, click Send verification email.
6. You'll receive an email asking to approve use of your email address in marketing emails sent from your HubSpot account. In the email, click Approve.

The email address will be immediately eligible for use as a from address or test recipient of marketing emails in your HubSpot account.
