Monitor spam with a daily spam submission digest
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:
The daily spam submission digest helps you monitor spam activity across your HubSpot forms. Each day, it summarizes spam submissions detected in the previous 24 hours, including the number of submissions blocked for each form and the types of spam identified.
Reviewing the digest helps you evaluate how effectively your forms are preventing spam and identify forms that may need closer monitoring or updates. For example, you can view whether a specific form is receiving repeated spam attempts and which spam categories are being flagged.
Permissions required Edit forms permissions are required to create and edit forms.
Before you get started
Before you use this feature, review the requirements and key considerations.
Requirements
- To receive the digest, turn on email or desktop notifications in your notification settings.
- Turn on the Spam submission daily digest notification.
Limitations & considerations
- The digest summarizes spam submissions detected in the previous 24 hours based on your account’s time zone.
- A notification is sent only if spam submissions are detected. If no spam is flagged, you won’t receive a digest.
- After turning on the digest for a form, the first email is sent within 24 hours, if spam is detected.
- Digests are scheduled to arrive each morning before 12:00 PM (noon) local time. Delivery time depends on your data hosting location and may arrive up to 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
