Sync contacts to other apps

You can sync HubSpot contacts to and from other apps using HubSpot sync. Leads and contacts in other apps will be synced as contacts in your HubSpot account.

Please note: it's not possible to edit the sync rules.

When syncing your leads and contacts to HubSpot, Hubspot will use lifecycle stages to define their stage in the customer journey. The lifecycle stage for each HubSpot contact will be determined using HubSpot’s lifecycle stage definitions.

Contacts in your other apps will be synced with one of the below lifecycle stages:

• Marketing Qualified Lead
• Sales Qualified Lead
• Opportunity
• Customer
• Evangelist
• Other
  

Leads in your others apps will be synced with one of the below lifecycle stages:

• Subscriber
• Lead

Please note: the lifecycle stage selected in the Set default lifecycle stage section of your sync setup will only be applied if the contact does not have an existing lifecycle stage value or when a Lead in another app syncs to HubSpot and requires the lifecycle stage to be promoted.
