Marketing Hub   Enterprise

Split a list to create multiple static lists with a percentage of the list's records. You can use split lists to test subsets of a list. For example, you can split a list of contacts that receive marketing materials and use the split lists to test different marketing campaigns.

To get individual samples of a list with a certain number or percentage of records, you can create a random sample instead.

Permissions required Edit List permissions are required to create list splits.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Lists.
  2. Click the name of the list of which to create a sample.
  3. In the top right, click Actions, then select Split list.
  4. To distribute records equally across lists, toggle the switch on. If your source list won't split evenly, leftover records will be equally distributed across your splits.
