Review calls on the HubSpot mobile app

Access a list of recorded calls while on the go using the HubSpot mobile app. You can listen to a call recording, review comments from other team members, or access the call transcript. Play back recorded calls to coach, mentor, and onboard new reps or catch any missed insights from the call. Use the recording to keep your notes up to date so you have all the context you need to prepare for your next call with a customer.

Recorded calls can be played while you navigate to other apps on your device or when your device is locked so you can multi-task while you listen. 

  • Open the HubSpot app on your iOS or Android device.
  • In the bottom navigation menu, tap More.
  • Tap Recorded Calls.
  • A list of recorded calls will appear. This list includes any recorded calls made using the calling tool, or cloud recordings using HubSpot's integration with Zoom. Tap a call to listen to the recording, access the call transcript, view and add any comments, or share the recording:

Please note: you can only record calls made from the HubSpot CRM on your desktop device. Call recording is currently unavailable on the HubSpot mobile app. If you don't see your recorded calls listed, make sure call recording is turned on in your account settings.

    • To listen to the recording on an iOS device, tap the playerPlay play icon. On an Android device, the call recording will start automatically when you select the recorded call.
    • Use the skip and rewind icons to jump to a specific part of the call.
    • If you're using an iOS device, to change the call playback speed, click the playback speed icon in the bottom left. If you're using an Android device, tap the settings settings icon to adjust the playback speed.

    • To add a comment, tap Comments, then tap Add a comment. To mention another team member in the comment, type @ and your team member's name, then enter your message. Tap the send send icon.

    • To access the call transcript, tap Transcript.
    • Tap transcript text to start playing that specific part of the recording.

Please note: call transcripts are only generated for calls made by users with an assigned Sales Hub or Service Hub Enterprise paid seat in accounts where Conversation Intelligence (CI) has been turned on. Any user in a Sales Hub or Service Hub Enterprise account can access the call recording and transcript for coaching. 

    • To share the call recording, tap the share icon on your device and select a sharing option. You can share the link via Slack, SMS, email, etc. When the recipient taps the link on their device, the call details will open in the app.
  • To return to your list of calls, tap the back icon in the top left.
