To help your team troubleshoot, users with Super admin permissions in a HubSpot account with two-factor authentication set up can log in as other users. This can be used to train your team, change the user's name or profile picture, or to verify they have access to specific tools. Super admins can see which users have logged in as other users in the security activity history export.
Please note:
- You can’t log in as another user who has super admin or Modify billing & change name on contract permissions. You also can’t edit user permissions or manage a user’s profile and preferences while logged in as another user.
- You can only change a user's name or profile image if the user is on one HubSpot account.
- When you log in as another user, the session will only remain active for 30 minutes.
- This feature is not available for accounts on a trial subscription.
To log in as another user:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Users & Teams.
- Hover over the user you want to impersonate, then click the Actions dropdown menu and select Log in as user.
- Click Log in.
- An email will be sent to the user to notify them that an admin logged into their profile.
