Attach a document to content

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Add a link to a document, such as a PDF, spec sheet, or guide, in any rich text editor. When visitors or recipients click the linked text, the file opens or downloads from your HubSpot files tool. This helps you share supporting material directly in your emails, pages, blog posts, and knowledge base articles without visitors or recipients needing to request it separately.

For example, Sprocket Supply Co., an ecommerce company selling sustainable office supplies, publishes a landing page for its bulk ordering program. A marketer links the text "Download the 2025 product catalog" to a PDF stored in the files tool. Visitors can review pricing and product details on their own, which limits the number of catalog requests the sales team handles manually.
