Add a personalization link to a button or image in marketing emails (BETA)

When drafting a marketing email, you can configure a button or image module to include a personalized link, which allows you to link to a unique location or provide a tailored experience based on CRM record data associated with the recipient.
Add personalization tokens to a button or image
To add a personalization token to a button or image in your email:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Marketing Email.
- Hover over a drafted email, or click Create email in the top right to create a new email.
- In the left pane, click and drag the Button or Image module into the body of your email.
- In the left pane, click the Link to dropdown menu, then select URL.
- Under Link, click Personalize.
- Configure your personalization token:
- Click the Type dropdown menu and select a token type.
- For regular marketing emails, you can insert an Office Location, Subscription Type, Contact, or Company token.
- For automated marketing emails, you can also insert a Deal, Ticket, Quote, Invoice, or Cart token.
- Click the Token dropdown menu and select a token.
- You can optionally enter a Fallback value to use if the associated token isn't populated with a value.
- Click Insert.
- Click the Type dropdown menu and select a token type.
