BetaExport marketing emails

You can export PDF or HTML versions of marketing emails sent from HubSpot. HTML versions help you recreate emails elsewhere, while PDF versions can be shared with other team members for approval or saved for compliance. 

Please note: if you're a Super Admin, you can opt your account into the Export Marketing Emails to PDF and HTML beta.

Export drafted emails

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
2. Click the name of a drafted email. 
3. In the email editor, click the File menu and select Export email design. 
4. In the dialog box, enter a name for the export in the File name field. 
5. In the File format section, select PDF or HTML. 
6. If you've run an A/B test on the email, click the Which A/B version do you want to export? dropdown menu and select a version. 
7. In the Include personalized content section, select a personalization option: 
   • Yes: fills out personalization tokens with values from a specific contact. Click the Choose an example contact dropdown menu and select a contact. 
   • No, show default content: fills out personalization tokens with the default values. 
8. Click Export. 

Export sent emails

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
2. Click the name of a sent email. 
3. On the email performance page, click the Export menu in the top right and select Export email design. 

4. In the dialog box, enter a name for the export in the File name field.
5. In the File format section, select PDF or HTML.
6. If you've run an A/B test on the email, click the Which A/B version do you want to export? dropdown menu and select a version.
7. In the Include personalized content section, select a personalization option:
   • Yes: fills out personalization tokens with values from a specific contact. Click the Choose an example contact dropdown menu and select a contact.
   • No, show default content: fills out personalization tokens with the default values.
8. Click Export.
