If you've connected a Shopify account to HubSpot using data sync, you can add a cart module to automated marketing emails that includes data about items customers have left in their carts. This helps drive reengagement and encourages prospects to complete their purchases.
Understand limitations and considerations
- Automated marketing emails with a cart module can only be used in a cart-based workflow.
- You can only send to a maximum of 250,000 recipients per hour for a marketing email that includes a cart module.
- You cannot conduct an A/B test with a marketing email with a cart module.
Add a cart module
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Click the name of a drafted email, or click Create in the top right.
- In the left sidebar, click and drag the Cart module into the body of your email.
- In the left sidebar, edit the details, styling, and layout of the items in the recipient's cart:
- To show or hide specific fields of each product, select or clear the checkboxes next to the corresponding option.
- Edit the font, styling, and alignment of the product's name, description, price, quantity, and checkout button by clicking the associated section. You can also customize the checkout button's text, color, border, and corner styling.
- To adjust the padding around the product module itself, scroll down and toggle the Padding switch on/off to enable and edit the associated padding.
- Edit and send your email.
