Use the lead summary (BETA)

If you are an admin or marketer and need insight about leads without using the prospecting workspace, you can use the lead summary. With this tool, you can create leads, view lead data, make bulk changes, and understand lead performance.

To navigate to the lead summary, in your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.

Manage leads and lead settings

Edit lead settings

Users with an assigned Sales Hub seat and Edit property settings permissions can configure the leads settings for your account. 

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.
  • In the upper right, click the Actions dropdown and select Open settings.
  • Continue editing your lead settings.

Restore leads

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.
  • In the upper right, click the Actions dropdown and select Restore leads.
  • Continue restoring your deleted leads

Pull in leads

Managers with property edit permissions can pull in leads.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.
  • In the upper right, click the Actions dropdown and select Pull in Leads.
  • Continue pulling in leads.

Create leads manually

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.
  • In the upper right, click Create lead.
  • Continue creating leads manually.

Bulk edit and delete leads

On the Manage tab, super admins can bulk-edit leads, which includes editing the lead owner.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads
  • To filter your leads by Stages, Owners, Types, Pipelines, or Lead sources, use the dropdown menus at the top of the table. To add additional filters, click Advanced filters. Learn more about how to select your filter criteria.
  • To search for a specific lead, click the search icon in the upper left. The results returned are based on searching the terms in the following fields: 

To edit lead properties, select the checkbox next to the records. 

  • To edit a lead property (including Lead Owner) click the Edit icon.
    • In the pop-up box, click the Property to update dropdown and select the property you want to edit.
    • Click the property dropdown menu or field to select or enter the new property value.
    • Click Save.

  • To delete a lead, click the Delete icon.
    • In the pop-up box, enter the number of records you want to delete.
    • Click Delete.

Analyze leads

On the Analyze tab, you can review a dashboard of reports to gain insight to how leads are performing.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads
  • Click the Anayze tab.

  • To filter your data, use the Leads Object create date/time and Leads Pipeline dropdown menus. To add additional filters, click Dashboard filters. Learn more about how to select your filter criteria.
  • Below, you can review the following reports:
    • Leads summary:
      • Sum open lead: new and in progress leads.
      • Sum of average in progress leads: in progress leads divided by all leads.
      • Average time to first touch: average time it takes for the first communication activity or meeting with a lead.
      • Sum associated deals: total number of deals associated with leads
      • Sum closed won deal amounts: deal amounts from Closed won deals that are associated with leads.
    • Leads funnel: insight into the conversion of leads as they progress through multiple stages in your pipeline.
    • Disqualification reasons: the total number of leads that were disqualified and the disqualification reason.
    • Deal revenue by lead source: the total amount of Closed won deals revenue grouped by lead source. 
    • Leads by source: the quantity of leads by the analytics source of the lead, inherited from the primary associated contact or company at the time of lead creation.
    • Leads created by workflows: a breakdown of leads and their current pipeline stage segmented by the workflow that created the lead.
    • Leads worked summary: breakdown of lead performance by lead owner.

      • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Leads.
      • In the upper right, click the Actions dropdown and select Restore leads.
