Create and use skills in Breeze Assistant

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:
Create skills to give Breeze Assistant custom instructions for business-specific tasks. Skills store instructions, business context, files, and output behavior that tell Breeze Assistant how to perform a task. This reduces the manual work of entering lengthy instructions and keeps output consistent for repeat tasks. To save a question or request you use often that doesn't require specific instructions, use saved prompts instead.
Before using Breeze Assistant, review how it uses your account context and responds to prompts.
Understand requirements
- Turn on Give users access to Breeze Assistant in your AI settings.
Understand limitations & considerations
- Skills only support markdown instructions, not scripts, tools, or external data sources.
Create skills
Skills are specific to your user until you share them. If you've built skills for other AI agents, copy them to Breeze Assistant to start from that baseline. You can also prompt Breeze Assistant to build a skill or create it manually.
To create a skill:
- In the top navigation bar, click Breeze Assistant.
- In the prompt text field, click the use tools icon.
- In the pop-up menu, hover over Skills, then select Add skill.
- In the dialog box, click Add skill, then select a method.
Upload a skill
- Click Upload a skill.
- Click the file upload area, then select a SKILL.md file or a .zip folder that contains a SKILL.md file.
- Edit the skill description, if desired.
- Click Upload skill.
Build a skill manually
- Click Create a skill.
- In the Skill name text field, enter a name. You'll use this when invoking a skill.
- In the Skill description text field, enter a brief description of the skill's purpose.
- In the Skill content text field, enter the skill's instructions in markdown format. For guidance on format, refer to this markdown cheat sheet.
- When you're finished, click Save skill.
Build a skill with Breeze Assistant
- Click Create with Breeze.
- Select answers to Breeze Assistant's configuration questions or select Skip.
- Enter a prompt that describes the task you want the skill to complete. Breeze Assistant will generate the skill instructions.
- In the right panel, review the generated instructions.

- Press the
/key on your keyboard, then click the name of a skill. - Enter any details your skill requires, then click the send prompt icon. Breeze Assistant will respond based on your skill instructions.
