Remove a stylesheet from a page

You can remove a stylesheet from an individual page in the page editor. Any stylesheets applied to a template can be removed in your design manager tool. To remove a stylesheet applied to all content hosted on a subdomain, you can update your settings. 

You can remove a stylesheet from being applied to a specific page in the content editor. 

  1. Navigate to your content:

    • Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Website Pages.
    • Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
  2. Click the name of your page.
  3. In the content editor, click Settings in the top right.
  4. In the dialog box, click Advanced in the left side menu.
  5. To turn off stylesheets that are inherited from the template or domain, click the Domain stylesheets dropdown menu and select Disabled.
  6. In the Page stylesheets section, click next to the stylesheet you'd like to remove.
The page settings dialog box is displayed in the content editor. The advanced menu is selected where the Stylesheets section is displayed. An arrow points to the Domain stylesheets dropdown menu. A box outlines an X icon in the subsection of Page stylsheets.

You can remove a stylesheet for a drag and drop template in the design manager using the layout editor. This will remove it from all pages using that template. 

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Design Manager.
  2. Click the name of the template in the finder.
  3. In the inspector, click next to the linked stylesheet in the Head and body options section. This will remove the stylesheet from all pages using this template.
  4. When finished, click Publish changes.
Within the design manager, for a drag and drop template, the inspector is displayed. The head and body section is expanded with a box around an X icon for a linked stylesheet for the template.

You can remove a stylesheet that's being applied to all pages for a specific domain. You can also remove a stylesheet being applied for all domains. 

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, click Content Pages. Default settings for all domains will be selected by default.
  3. To remove a stylesheet that is attached to all domains, click X next to the attached stylesheet in the CSS & Stylesheets section.
  4. To remove a stylesheet that it attached to a specific domain:
    • In the Choose a domain to edit its settings section, click the dropdown menu, and select the domain.
    • Click X next to the attached stylesheet in the CSS & Stylesheets section.
  5. In the bottom left, click Save
The CSS & Stylesheets section is displayed within Content > Pages settings for all domains. A box is displayed around an X icon for a stylesheet being applied to all domains.
