Download the domain audit log

You can download the audit log for connected domains in a CSV file. The downloaded audit log includes domain changes and activity history like domain additions, removals, and setting changes.

Before you begin working with this feature, make sure to fully understand what steps should be taken ahead of time, as well as the limitations of the feature and potential consequences of using it. 

Understand requirements

• Users must have Audit log access permission to download the domain audit log.

Understand limitations & considerations

• Data collection begins on Aug. 19th, 2025. Previous changes are not viewable in the audit log.
• Domain changes and activity history include data from the past 90 days.

Download the domain audit log

• In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
• In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Content > Domains & URLs.
• Click to expand Advanced options at the bottom of the page.
• In the Download Audit Log for Domains section, click Download audit log.
• The following are some of the columns included in the domain audit log:
  • Timestamp: the date and time of the change (e.g., 2025-07-25T14:57:15.066Z). 
    
  • Event: the type of change (e.g., CREATED, UPDATED, or DELETED). 
  • Object Name: the name of the domain (e.g., www.hubspot.com).
  • Object ID: the ID of the domain.
  • User Name: the username of the user associated to the change. 
  • User ID: the user ID of the user associated to the change.
