Get started with Small Group Coaching live events

Join Small Group Coaching live events to build HubSpot skills, get real-time guidance from HubSpot Academy Professors, and connect with peers. Sessions cover 60+ topics and are available in multiple languages and regions.

For example, you can join a Small Group Coaching session to get hands-on help with a specific HubSpot tool, or browse Community live events to learn alongside other users.

Before you get started

Before registering or joining a live event, take note of the following:

• You must have a HubSpot account. If you don't have one, create a HubSpot account.

• Live events are hosted on hubspot.com/events/customer-success, powered by Hivebrite. When you log in for the first time, you'll be prompted to connect your HubSpot account to Hivebrite.
• If you have multiple HubSpot accounts, use the email address for the account where you want to receive Hivebrite communications.

Set up your live events account

1. Navigate to events.hubspot.com.
2. In the upper right, click Log in.
3. Sign in using your HubSpot credentials. If you don't have an account, select Create a new HubSpot account.
4. In the table, select the HubSpot account you want to use. Then, click Choose Account.
5. Under the Required section, review which information Hivebrite can access in your account. Then, click Connect app.
6. In the form, enter your first name, last name and shared location. Then, click Log in.
• Your HubSpot associated email will be pre-populated.
• You can enter a city, region, and country, but entering only a country is sufficient.

Once submitted, your live events account will be created and a welcome email will be sent to your associated email address.

Find and browse live events

After creating your live events account, explore the list of Small Group Coaching events available from the events homepage. 

1. Navigate to events.hubspot.com.
2. Use the search bar or filters to find available events by topic, region, or language.
3. Click Register on an event, or click View more times across regions to view additional availability.
   

Register for a live event

1. In the event information card, click Register.
2. In the event tab, click Register for this event.
3. Use the dropdown menu to select your ticket. Then, click Proceed to registration.
4. Under Choose attendee, select yourself to complete all required fields. Then, click Submit. If Choose attendee does not appear, your information will be automatically populated.

Once submitted, you'll be registered for the event and a confirmation email will be sent to your associated HubSpot email address. To add the event to your calendar, click Add to calendar below the confirmation message.

Join a live event

Locate the event page link

To join an event, access the event page link from one of the following locations:

• Registration confirmation email: open the confirmation email with the subject line Registration confirmation for [Event name]. Please add to your calendar! and click the link in the email body.
• Reminder emails: open one of the two reminder emails sent 24 hours or one hour before the event, under the subject lines 24 Hour REMINDER: You are registered for [Event name] or 1 Hour REMINDER: You are registered for [Event name], and click the link in the email body.
• Calendar: if you've added the event to your calendar, open the event and click the event page link in the event description.

• Events page:

1. 1. Go to events.hubspot.com.
   2. In the upper right, click your profile icon.
   3. From the dropdown menu, click My Events.
   4. On the event information card, click the name of the event you want to attend.

Access the live session

At the start time of the event, click Join the live event on the event page. A Zoom room will open for you to join the meeting.

If you join before the event start time, you'll be placed in the waiting room until the host starts the meeting.

Cancel your registration

1. Navigate to events.hubspot.com.
2. In the upper right, click your profile icon.
3. From the dropdown menu, click My Events.
4. In the list, locate the event you want to cancel. Then, click See Order.
5. Click Cancel complete order.

Your registration will be cancelled and a confirmation email will be sent to your associated HubSpot email address.
