Manage marketing contacts settings for your integrations

Your contacts created via your integrations can be automatically created as marketing contacts or you can customize which contacts are set as marketing.

Only contacts tagged as marketing contacts can receive marketing emails and be targeted with ads.

Set all contacts created by the integration as marketing

Please note: a user must have marketing contacts access to update the marketing contacts status for an integration.

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Integrations, then select Marketing contacts.
  • In the Your connected apps section, you will see a list of all apps connected to your HubSpot account.
  • To turn on marketing contacts for an integration, to the right of the name of the integration, click to toggle the switch on.

Please note: once the setting has been enabled, only newly created contacts via the integration will be created as marketing contacts.

If you have permissions to update marketing status, you can update any non-marketing contacts that were created previously through an integration to a marketing contact. These newly set marketing contacts will count towards your billable contact tier limit, going forwards in the current period.
